Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to participation in the Makapo silent auction through silentauction.cooperativepaddling.com. By submitting a bid, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

Participants must provide accurate contact information when placing a bid. Event staff may disqualify bids that appear incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the auction.

Bidding

Each bid must meet the listed starting bid and bid increment requirements for the auction item. Submitted bids are considered offers to purchase the item at the bid amount. Bids may not be withdrawn except at the discretion of event staff.

Winning Bids

After bidding closes, the highest valid bid for each item will generally be treated as the winning bid. Event staff may review bid history, void invalid bids, resolve ties or disputes, and make the final determination of winning bidders.

Notifications

The auction system may send email confirmations, outbid notices, and winning bidder instructions. Notifications are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and checking with event staff if you have questions about your bids.

Payment and Pickup

Winning bidders are responsible for paying the winning bid amount and collecting items according to instructions provided by event staff. Items may be released only after payment has been confirmed. Unclaimed items may be handled at the discretion of event staff.

Items

Auction item descriptions, photos, estimated values, and donor information are provided in good faith. Unless otherwise stated by event staff, items are offered as-is and may not be exchanged or refunded.

Website Availability

We try to keep the auction website available during the event, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Event staff may use backup procedures or make reasonable adjustments if technical issues affect bidding.

Privacy

Information submitted through the auction website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as needed. The version posted on this page applies while it is available on the auction website.
